Mayas report from her class teacher this year said:
'Maya is an independent member of the class. She shows interest in most areas of the class room. She particularly works in the creative and role play areas and can now select her own activities. Maya is confident to try new activities and like a challenge.
Maya can now remain focused for a longer period of time and she shows determination and persistence in some of her activities. Maya now talks about what she is going to do and is beginning to review her outcomes with more confidence, excitement and pride.
Maya can confidently move her learning between areas of the class room. She has recently started to show more interest in independently developing her number and writing skills. Maya sometimes needs support to help her to concentrate during writing and number activities to help her to achieve to her full potential.
Maya has made progress in all areas and has built good relationships. She shows great resilience in many situations and I truly admire what a strong girl she is. I have really enjoyed teaching Maya and wish her continued success in year 1.'
Mayas Head teacher comments:
Maya has settled well into school life and has made pleasing progress in many areas. She should feel really proud of her achievements.'
