This month hasn't just been about stardom.....
We have been enjoying a jammed packed summer holiday so far. With lots of days outs, bbqs, swimming and water fun.
Its not all fun and games though as we have been working hard to prepare Maya for starting school in September.
Maya and Max had a sleepover with Oma and a great day out at Oldhurst to see tthe crocodiles and Emu

Health and Physio progress
Maya Has been really well this month. We have had a couple of visits to the hospital for a catheter change and a pulled out NG tube but these are routine things that can not be avoided. Her general health has been good and she has been able tto really enjoy the holidays. This Month Maya has also been able to start weight bearing again following her bilateral hip reconstruction in November 2015 and metal work removal June 2016. The process of rehabilitation is going to be a very long one and we are working hard with Maya's physiotherapist and orthopaedic surgeon to help Maya reach her potential. The early days are looking very promising with really good functional movement and positioning of her legs. She is quite steady on her feet whilst supported and is putting weight through her legs (previously she did most of it with her arm strength)
